About the Journal

The World Journal of Childhood in Africa (WJCA) is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing scholarship on childhood within the African context. Published in English, the journal provides a platform for the dissemination of insightful empirical research, critical reviews and informed opinion articles that explore innovative and knowledge-driven issues affecting children in Africa in the 21st century.

WJCA welcomes high-quality, original contributions from scholars across diverse disciplines. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure that standards of originality, scholarly relevance, timeliness and clarity are consistently upheld.

The journal is published by D'griots Child's Outreach Uyo, Akwa Ibom State in collaboration with the Department of Guidance and Counselling, University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
